Are you a bathroom singer like me? Oh! I don’t mean you are not a good singer. You are a good singer if you like to entertain yourself with good music. Maybe you cannot sing but that doesn’t mean you don’t like quality music! Rather, having ability to comprehend good music is a God’s gift to human beings. We taste music, we dance to music, and we live music! There is no part in the whole world where music is not liked. Different cultures and Religions have their own musical charms since centuries.
No wonder the person who doesn’t like music is a non-living object according to many! And rightly so! However, the people who love music also have many problems pertaining to their love for music. Though most of the CDs and DVDs are available nearby us in shops, some CDs and DVDs have to be downloaded and for this, we need to search for good music download sites. No doubt, this is a tricky job and many of us get deceived because of our inability to choose the right site.
Why we get deceived? • We do not perform a comparative study of different music download sites • We do not understand the importance of some of the unique features of authentic download sites like 24-hour customer support, quality of music, price range, and other options like fast downloads, volume of song, etc, thus opting for site that doesn’t have these features • We do not find a site that gives comparative study of various sites at a glance
Whatever it is, at the end, we suffer because we opt for music download that is not worth of our time and space. After we download, we find many lacunae in the downloaded CDs or DVDs and later we repent for having opted for specific site. This is the reason to satiate our music buds, we need to search first for an authentic site that has good number of features mentioned above so that we experience quality download.
How comparative study helps us get good music download site?
The comparative study of different music download site helps us understand unique features of each site better. We tend to overlook certain features like quality of music and lifetime pricing unless we perform a careful comparative study. The study also helps us understand the loopholes of the sites from which we might have downloaded at times. This helps us avoid such sites in future too.
Though comparison helps us know better about cheap music download, it’s difficult to carry out comparative study without the help of someone who helps us achieve our goal. How good it is if some site helps us carry out the comparative study of different music downloads sites at a glance! Yes, there are sites which help us do this and make us understand the uniqueness of certain popular yet cheap music download sites like Flickr, Unlimited Download Center, Unlimited Media Access, and Klito Pro. Through this study, satiating our music buds is more authentic and pleasing our senses no doubt!

Behavioral Symptoms To Watch Out For In Your Child
Autism is a complex issue and needs to be handled with the utmost care and understanding. If you find that your child has symptoms of autism, this will pose a challenge to you, and you may find that your child is not behaving like other children, in which case you will need to go to your family doctor so that he can assess the child and if he feels the need, he will refer you to specialists in the field who will be able to diagnose and treat your child.
Signs Of Autism That You Need To Be Aware Of
One of the earliest signs of autism is the fact that the child does not interact socially and is incapable of expressing emotions normally – the child also does not have a feeling of closeness with family and friends as normal children do. Children with autism shy away from bonding or touching other children.
Another sign that you need to be aware of is a communication problem especially with their same age group. Sometimes they are unable to speak and only sounds emanate from them and they gesture to others. There are certain cases where the child talks but mostly they repeat words that they hear and are unable to talk on their own – also if they do speak, it is in a monotonous manner and well below their own age group.
You will need to assess the effect of sensory stimulation on your child. Sometimes children get nervous and agitated at sounds, and at other times they may have a fixation on a certain sound or light for a length of time. It is necessary to consult a pediatrician if your child displays any of these signs.
There are certain rituals that a child with autism may do on a regular basis. If this is not done, the child may be greatly agitated – for instance a child may only eat a particular type of food and desire to wear only certain type of clothes, and if this is not adhered to, will get into a temper and behave in an extremely agitated manner.
It is important to note that if your child displays any of these symptoms, you should consult your doctor who will make an analysis, and advise you as to how you need to handle the situation. If he finds it necessary, he will refer you to a specialist in the field who will be able to make a more detailed analysis, and put your child on to treatment immediately, so that you will be able to give your child the correct treatment which will enable him to live a better life.

Most of you know that the Amazon River is by far the largest in the world, with more fresh water discharge than the next six largest rivers combined, but to appreciate that volume of water, you should join us going upstream in Dawn on the Amazon.
Tucked up tight to shore in the slack current at three quarter throttle, we watch life on the river unfold as it has for centuries, with the native inhabitants living a subsistence lifestyle in harmony with their environment.
We see most people still live like their ancestors, in thatch roof houses built on stilts to stay above the flood, with no doors or windows, and frequently with no walls, with strips of soft bark for floors. A machete, a bucket, and a few pots and pans are their only manufactured implements.
Men and women work together tending a patch of yucca, a small grove of banana trees, with a few lemon, lime, orange, papaya, mango, cashew, or cocoa, and other exotically delicious jungle fruit that most of you have probably never heard of let alone tasted, such as zapote, mamey, ubilla, guaba, shimbillo, macambo, copoazu, caimito and camu camu.
The typical mode of transportation is still the dugout canoe, and nearly always a fisherman is in sight working his net, or an individual or family are canoeing. Women wash clothes in the river, carry water in buckets to their houses, cook over open fires, and nurse babies. Children run up and down the bank waving and yelling at us.
My two favorite guides, Edson and Beto, hurry back to report to our guests that our most important geographical landmark, the confluence of the Maranon and Ucayali Rivers is just around the bend. With cameras in hand, everyone moves to the bow of the boat to record our passing through the beginning of the majestic Amazon River. Our course is the Ucayali fork, to the left going upstream. The north bank of the Ucayali River is the southern boundary of Pacaya Samiria National Reserve (PSNR).
It is difficult to comprehend that the reserve is larger than some countries without cruising to the far, remote entrance, the Pacaya River. After miles of jungle go by, interspersed with rice planted in the flood plains and peanuts planted in the sandy soil uphill from the rice, and we pass many boats and villages, eventually over five million acres begins to take on meaning.
When Dawn on the Amazon turns up the Pacaya River we enter one of the great wetland environments on earth. Within ten minutes it is like being in another world. We see giant Paiche near the opening to a lake. Paiche are the largest freshwater fish with scales. They are unusual for their size and because they have lungs. It is common to find them two meters long and weighing 125 kilos when they surface to breath.
Edson and Beto rush to 84 year old ‘Abuelita’ Eileen, pointing to make sure she sees the cloud of parakeets, I guess there are a hundred, followed moments later by eight to ten large parrots. Before we left Iquitos Eileen told us she hoped to see parrots in the wild. She saw a lifetime worth of parrots along the Pacaya River.
When we came through this stretch of river a month ago we saw fifty sloth, this time only one; curious the ebb and flow of wildlife. We know birds and monkeys easily move to a new tree full of ripe fruit, but it is hard to imagine sloth moving so slowly through the jungle to a new food source.
Hawks are hunting. Horned Screamers honk their loud, liquid call, mixed flocks of Snowy and Great Egrets, cormorants, ducks, and herons, fly or fish close to the boat as we glide upstream. But our unique adventure in PSNR is not about seeing the seven species of monkeys, or the hundred species of birds, nor several dozen pink dolphins, or the iguanas, caimans, capybara, or sloth. We expect to observe them when we enter the reserve. Our adventure is with the most interesting and dangerous primate of all, Homo sapiens.
The ranger in charge of the second check point, Jose, immediately informs us there is an emergency. Six paiche poachers have been spotted hidden away at a lake twenty minutes upstream. With only four rangers in the area, he asks for our assistance. A few years ago the reputations of everyone in the village of Bretana were tarnished when paiche poachers from that village murdered three rangers who tried to confiscate their nets and canoes. Because of that crime, the village is considered dangerous and our boats never stop at Bretana.
Jose wants me to go with them, but with six guests on board I believe my first responsibility is to them. I ask Beto if he would go with the rangers and take our VHF hand-held radio to maintain contact with Dawn on the Amazon. He reluctantly agrees, but is not pleased with these unexpected events. He knows the story of the murdered rangers as well as I do.
Jose has a plan. The poachers have set up camp next to a small stream connecting the largest lake in PSNR to the Yarina River. That stream is too small for Dawn on the Amazon III so we tow the ranger’s boats behind us, and when we come to the stream the rangers and Beto paddle up the stream to the camp. The poachers hear our boat go past and believe they are safe.
We go on to block the only possible escape route, and if necessary to ram their boats and prevent their escape however we can. Beto takes the hand-held radio to maintain communication and one of our cameras to record the evidence.
Beto tells the story: “It was difficult to get through the stream because it was choked with aquatic vegetation. We had to push pole through the water grass, and get out pushing the canoes and Jon boat. It took over an hour to get to the camp. I noticed buzzards pecking at a pile of fish heads and carcasses.
“I saw the infractories, packing their gear to escape. Jose jumped out of the boat to confront them. I heard the conversation get louder and louder. The leader said they were only trying to have a system to survive. Jose argued that it is easy to survive without poaching. The other infractories whispered suspiciously while getting their machetes.
“The rest of the rangers saw the threat and sprang out of the boats as one of the poachers attacked Jose with a machete, aiming a killing blow to the back of his neck. Someone shouted a warning and Jose spun around just in time to grab the attempted murderer’s wrist.
“As they fought for the machete, the poacher screamed, ‘Here we will kill each other.’ Jose wrestled the machete away and threw it in the water. The other rangers formed a circle around Jose and the attempted murderer on the ground fighting.
“The other poachers were closing in threatening with their machetes when I shouted into the radio, ‘Officina, officina, base, base, we have trouble. Send in the other rangers, send help, send help, over.’
“Everyone heard the reply, ‘Help is on the way. Rangers on the way. Keep us informed, over.’ That was all it took to take the fight out of the poachers. They laid down their machetes. That is when I radioed back, ‘It is over. We are OK. Negotiations have begun, no reinforcements necessary, over.’
“I could not understand these negotiations. The infractories always spoke as if they had done no wrong, that we were wrong to bother them. The man who spotted the infractories and informed Jose of their location works for the rangers but lives in the village.
The leader of the infractories shook his finger at him as he threatened, ‘You are the person who let them know we are here! Our trouble is your fault! Make sure I do not see you tomorrow…’
“They were allowed to keep their nets, canoes, spears, and half of the paiche. They had eight large turtles and four medium size turtles in a bag. Jose ordered them to release the turtles. They refused. They argued that since they were allowed to keep half the paiche, they should be allowed to keep half of turtles. After much arguing, all of the turtles were released.
“They were absolutely positive that they should be allowed to stay and fish like honest fishermen. They argued with Jose for an hour, but Jose was insistent that they leave. They refused to go.
“Jose explained that every ranger in the reserve has been notified by radio of their activities and they would be followed and monitored the entire fifty kilometers to the entrance. Still they argued so forcefully to stay that Jose became suspicious and a search was conducted around the perimeter of the camp.
“One of the rangers discovered a freshly killed, fifty kilo paiche covered with leaves. They had the nerve to argue that half of that fish should also be theirs, but even Jose’s patience was running out, and he ordered them to leave immediately.
“As they started paddling downstream, the leader turned and threatened, ‘This is not the end of it. It will not stay like this.’ Jose replied with a threat of his own, ‘I can not believe you would be stupid enough to cause more trouble now that every ranger knows your name, where you and your family live, and what you have done.’”
It is quite possible that Beto’s quick thinking with our VHF radio saved the lives of all the rangers, as well as his own. The rangers rewarded him with a big slab of the fresh paiche. He was kind enough to share with all on board Dawn on the Amazon III. We all agreed that the paiche made some of the best ceviche we have ever eaten, and no one ever ate better fish than the fresh fillets of paiche fried in palm oil.
I have been thinking about men willing to kill or be killed for a fish, and thinking about a system of punishment that lets an attempted murderer go free. I remember near Mayo, Florida, around thirty-five years ago, three game wardens were murdered on an old logging road in the swamp. Many of the mothers of deer hunters in town feared that the murderers might be their sons.
I have personally known poachers in Indiana. The poachers I know are never motivated by survival. Most often it is wildness, a belief that the law does not apply to them, and in some instances, laziness. What is the easiest, fastest way to put meat on the table? Should our paiche poachers be allowed to keep half of their catch? Should they keep their spears, nets, and canoes? These are hard questions to ponder as we continue our journey.
We are escorted upstream by a pod of pink river dolphin. They are protected by legend and custom. The people of the river believe pink dolphins have supernatural powers and it is the worst kind of luck to harm one. They swim at will without fear of poachers.
At the third ranger station we learn that no one has visited since we signed the log book two months ago. This wilderness between the second and third ranger stations seems to be Dawn on the Amazon’s private reserve. It is wonderful to have the opportunity to enjoy this nature experience and is more marvelous still if you know how to value it.
Now if we can just catch the poacher who cut down the Big Leaf Mahogany…
Affiliate marketing (AM) is fast becoming a major trend in
online business. With the internet still in its adolescent
years, it has already established itself as an extremely viable
career opportunity, bridging the advertising gap for companies,
while providing much sought-after work at home revenue.
With the boom in affiliate marketing, however, there is a
growing wave of new marketers that become easily discouraged
when the initial hype wears off and they don’t understand what
to expect in the business. For those just entering the arena,
here are a few Facts Of Life about Affiliate Marketing:
1) YOU WILL HAVE TO INVEST SOME MONEY Affiliate marketing being
a hybrid of the independent contractor & the self-employed small
business owner, it is inevitable that some money be invested.
While a contractor might earn a base pay + commission, they also
have little or no control over product, promotion or price. And,
while a self-employed owner controls all these, they also pay
all the bills.
But an AM is neither. They don’t control price nor, once they
sign up, product. But they do control promotion. And, unlike a
self-employed worker, they bear only a fraction of the costs.
The advertising fraction.
So, the bad news is affiliate marketers do have to invest some
money, at some point, even in the best programs or scenerios.
But this has also become a growing trend in all sales positions,
as well as positions in all industries. Many positions include a
certain amount of investment. Any job that requires a uniform,
for example, means investing in special clothes. Plus most
realtors must pay for their own advertising.
The good news is that, unlike other sales positions (but similar
to small business), the AM controls that cost because they
decide on which advertisements to invest.
The best news is that many companies, like Plug-in-Profits
(http://trackermo.com/pips.html), now offer great affiliate
support and will guide the new AM until they understand the
business and can stand on their own two feet.
2) YOU WILL HAVE TO INVEST SOME TIME Affiliate marketing works
on the slide-rule effect. That is, the more effort the AM
invests, the richer the dividends. And, like a microcosm of a
career, the AM works their tail off in the beginning– then
works less and less as their sales build. But this can be
measured in months, rather than years (thus, the mirocosm).
Still, many enter the AM arena thinking all they have to do is
sign up as an affiliate, then sit back and reap the rewards. And
that’s just when they should be getting busy. The rewards will
come, but not until they’ve put in their time.
The bad news here is to expect to eat, drink and sleep
marketing– at first.
The good news is that, according to experts in the field, an
affiliate can expect to see a return on their investment within
the first 3-9 months, depending on how much time they spend at
it.
3) YOU WILL GET BURNED ONCE OR TWICE It’s inevitable. Either by
paying astronomical fees for hosting, for leads or for some
other service (not to mention, the existence of scams), it
happens. That’s why “expert” and “experience” have the same root
word. It takes experience to know what’s going on, how to spot a
scam, and to know a good opportunity when it arrives.
The good news is, experience is the best teacher of all. And a
new AM will soon learn from their mistakes.
4) YOU WILL HAVE TO UPDATE YOURSELF The internet has been called
the most fluid industry ever. That’s a poetic way of saying it
changes faster and more often than a body of water. Engineers
call it expotential growth, though it’s more reminiscent of
growth on a cellular level: Rather like a baby starting as two
single cells and, in nine short months, becoming a fully formed
infant. Or, like a pyramid scheme that really works!
Whatever the analogy, the point is the internet is constantly,
incessantly, (sometimes annoyingly) changing. What was vital two
years ago (SE placement, keywords, Pay-Per-Click), is now
becoming passe, replaced by new types of more effective
marketing techniques (PowerLinking, Opt-in lists, pay-per-buy).
All of which leads to–
5) YOU MUST BE PRO-ACTIVE To keep the revenues up, AMs must find
good resources to monitor the business. Newsletters, forums and
affiliate resource pages all become vital to watching the latest
trends. They are filled with the latest information, the latest
ideas and the newest concepts in advertising.
Also, in the case of the AM with their own website, that must be
updated occasionally, too, while the affiliate landing page is
kept up by the company. But when an AM opts for their own page,
they must be aware that every few months or years, a new
enhancement takes off. Right now, the latest is audio and or
animated spokespeople.
Once an affiliate marketer arms themself with these facts of
life, they have a very good chance of succeeding in this new
arena.–mo

GLOBAL DOMIANS INTERNATIONAL JOIN ME website.ws Hi, I begin by introducing myself. My Name is Nasser Jamaaoui and I was born in London, UK. I am 24 years old and study Film, Fulltime at University. In terms of occupations I have had numerous jobs over the years, particularly jobs of decent pay but this involved very hard work, especially during my time of study which my mind needs to be focused on. Now this method Im about to tell you is considered to be the modern job. With a Laptop or PC you are able to work anywhere an internet connection is retrievable. At first I was a little sceptical about the whole working from a coffee shop or home over the internet and being paid for it. Honestly I thought it was bogus. Naturally I scoured the power of the World Wide Web in search of the facts to support this ideology. Well… much to my surprise I discover that its all legitimate. This new method is known as AFFILITAE MARKETING. Internet marketing is very simple really. Just refer products, in this case Global Domains International. There are many types of methods that companies use but GDI is full proof especially for beginners. Global Domains international is a Hosting company that is selling domains known as .WS this is in comparison to .net, .com, .co.uk etc. They charge $10 per month for a domain subscription which is useful to those looking for a place of business or personal space. Your personal theme can be changed, just like you change the theme of your browser or your computer. Your theme is built from partly what you have experienced in your life, partly what you have been taught, and partly from you genetics. These are the recurrent attitudes you approach life with. That’s your theme.
If you are worried constantly, “easy to anger”, take life with a “grain of salt”, are “always optimistic” about what is going to turn up – these are all life themes.
You change them, like any habit, through substituting another habit for them. Yes, attitudes are habits. They are adopted by repetition.
You can control any of your attitudes, and should. Just as you stand out if you are laughing at the wrong point in a theater or crying when everyone is jubilant around you at a football game, you attitudes should be appropriate for what is going on around you. This doesn’t mean you agree with everyone’s reactions – but you can decide whether you want to call attention to yourself.
I covered this point of controlling your attitudes in my book “Go Thunk Yourself(TM)!” Re-programming your habits was covered in my “Go Thunk Yourself, S’more!”.
Of course, I’m doing this for myself as I write this. The re-programming I’ve been doing in my own life has some interesting results so far. The program, as you may recall, is to play “The Secret” DVD several times every day for at least 30 days – and follow the tips and techniques in this DVD. You can also use Earl Nightingale’s “The Strangest Secret”.
I often listen to this as background while I am doing other work. What I’ve found is that my basic core attitudes have been changing. The text of the DVD has been becoming almost subliminal – listening to something like this makes it become nearly learned by rote, you often know the upcoming part and what is going to be said next. This is the exact point. If you can find a single recording which has a complete system on it, playing it over and over enables you to learn this and reprogram your life with it. There aren’t a lot of these recordings, but you will find that many authors such as Wayne Dyer and Earl Nightingale said to constantly play other self-help tapes in your life, to surround you with these articles, books and so on. You are going to reprogram yourself in this fashion.
Oddly, you can do this by simply turning off your radio, TV and reading less newspapers during your day. It’s interesting to see how quiet things are and what thoughts now come into your mind. If you do this, you can see what you are constantly thinking about during the day – what your “theme” is in life. You will see what your attitudes are and how you deal with things around you. Because you aren’t constantly being inundated with stories of the dead, dying, or threatening – you now have time to track your own thoughts. And then you can decide whether you want to change them or not.
Reprogramming is like gradually replacing all the colored clothes with whites or vice-versa. You mostly only can pull out a single item at a time and sometimes you pull out the wrong thing – but it’s ok to drop something back in. Sometimes you don’t have a choice, since a white long-sleeved shirt might be entangled with a pair of jeans. But you simply take out the pair, untangle them, and then put back in the one you want.
As you play an MP3 or DVD daily, you start to give yourself a recurrent line of thought to compare your other thoughts with. What I’ve found is that this method will show up a regular and definite chronic line of thought in your life. With “The Secret” DVD, I’m starting to change any old patterns of self-doubt, anxiety, temper with the positive emotions I really always have cherished. Only now, I can simply keep these positive emotions in my life as a constant theme.
So in your efforts to change your own theme, you are simply changing the world around you. That’s just the way it is. The only way this could fail would be in your keeping all this great stuff to yourself. But then, you’d be surrounded by people with secrets, wouldn’t you? And you would have mysteries constantly appearing in your life, wouldn’t you?
Your world and what you think is entirely up to you. What you experience around you is up to you. If you don’t like the stress in your life, if you don’t like the arguing, if you feel like you don’t control where your life is heading – change it.
I’ve laid out in this article how you can do it. You can change your life to whatever you want it to be. You can travel, become a millionaire, live a rock star’s life – anything you want. For me, I like living on a farm and having the time to do my artwork and write. You might like more action in your life – I cherish solitude. What you want in your life, what your theme is – all of this is up to you to change and sort out for yourself.
Whatever your life’s theme song is – it’s up to you. And only up to you. No one can change your life for you. Get one of the classics, or one of my books, or several – or listen to Dyer’s tapes, or Nightingale’s. Or pick up anyone else’s and play them constantly for yourself, for your own personal good.
And you’ll find your theme changing – so let us find you constantly humming your own theme song.
Personal finance and business finance are based on the same principles – only the scale is different. Let’s see how business control their finances and apply it to your finances with 7 simple skills.
Skill #1. Learn Where Your Money Goes (Business controls its spending)
This skill is a very easy one to master, all it needs a little discipline. Just get a little diary, keep it with at all times and enter each spending transaction into it for a whole month. Do not leave anything out. Every coffee bought while you were out, every bought work lunch, every magazine and every item of clothing. Look at it and see where your funds are really going. Then think what you could have done without. If it was a work-day Starbuck’s Coffee (say $5) – that’s worth $1,000 per year! What you could you do with that? That’s a short resort holiday or you could put it aside for emergencies.
Once you have the months’ spending list, then group the items into categories. You could use Food, Clothing, Transport, Rent/House Payments, Medical and Car Payments etc.
Skill #2. Learn How Much You Really Have to Spend (Business knows what it has available to spend)
This is a little harder – but not much. List out your take-home pay (total income less taxes). Then take off your monthly payments such as house/rent, car, life insurance, credit card and medical insurance. The balance should be what is left to spend.
Skill #3. Learn How to Set Savings Goals (Business sets targets)
Once you have mastered Skills #1 and #2 it’s time to sit down and think about what you really need to save for. Is it the kid’s education? Is it a holiday for the family or yourself? Is it to set some money aside for retirement? Or, is it to replace the car, furniture or washing machine?
Look at your results in Skills #1 and #2. How much do you have left after taking your spending from your income? Is there anything left over? What happens if there was a spending emergency? What would happen if there was a major car repair cost? What happens if your fridge or washer dies? You need to set aside something each month to cover these events.
Skill #4. Learn How to Live Within Your Means (Business cannot spend more than it can repay)
If the results of Skills #1 and #2 shows that you are spending more than your income whose money are you really spending? It is the bank’s or the Credit Card Provider’s money. That money has a cost. It’s the interest. That is one reason you need help now.
There are only two parts to this puzzle. Money in and money out. The trick is to make more or spend less, or a combination of both. Since it is easier to spend more that to earn more, let’s look at some painless ways to spend less.
1. Don’t buy things just because they are on sale – only buy when you really need them.
2. Think twice (or even three times) before spending on frivolous items
3. Think twice before you make that mobile phone call. Is it REALLY necessary?
4. Wait for things to go on sale. Usually there is no immediate need to buy many items.
5. Eat at home more often. 1 meal a week eaten at home, not out, could save you $750 per year.
6. Make your work lunch instead of buying it each day. This could save you up to $2,000 per year!
7. Stay busy – start a hobby, improve yourself by reading at the library – anything to keep you from shopping at the mall.
8. Buy clothes from discount shops rather than large up-market retailers.
9. Let your kids take the bus to school rather than driving them.
10. Try to eat natural foods rather than processed foods. You’ll save money and stay more healthy.
11. Stop smoking. What a waste of money! It costs you money and it can harm your health.
12. Apply as much spare cash as you can to pay down your credit card debt quickly.
Now, how can you increase your cash coming in?
1. Improve you job/career prospects by taking a course, read books to enhance your work skills at the library.
2. Take online surveys. Check them out on the Internet.
3. Learn how to create your own website. Make your hobby pay for itself.
4. Clean out those items you no longer need. Fill up your car trunk and take them to a weekly or monthly market. You’ll be surprised how much people will pay.
Skill #5. Learn How to Develop a “Savings” Mindset (Business only purchases at the best price)
Tell yourself from now on you’re not paying full price again for anything. Not clothes, not furniture, not white goods, not car repairs, not insurances, not phones – not even food. Once you set your mind to it, you will find many ways to make this happen. It only needs the will. These tips will help:
1. When buying expensive items play off one store against another. Ask for the lowest price from one store then get the other one to better it. Do this a few times and you’ll be surprised how much they can really cut the price!
2. Don’t buy clothes at the height of the fashion. Find clothes that mix and match well.
3. Learn a little about how your car works. Don’t just take your car to the repairer and say “fix it”. Try to narrow down the problem yourself first. Get a couple of quotes.
4. Competition is a wonderful thing. There are always providers of services out these that are ready and willing to beat a competitor’s price. This will work for phones (fixed and mobile), insurances, computers, software, car finance and house finance. Make sure the quality is to your standards though.
Skill #6. Learn How to Bargain and not Accept Paying Full Price Again. (Business needs to negotiate prices)
Always ask “What is your best price?” Don’t ask “Is that your best price?” Be ready to tell the salesperson the best price you’ve received from their competition. Then ask the question again, “What is your best price?” Walk away if the price is not to your satisfaction. This is best used on white goods, furniture and vehicle salespeople.
Don’t get too stuck on a specific brand or model. Look at all your options.
You can also look for the type of product you require on Ebay. Check their prices and use them to your advantage.
Skill #7. Learn How to Put Your Own Finance Plan in Place – and Stick to it. (Business needs a plan and commits to it)
Now that you have a few more skills to control money in and money out it’s time to commit to a budget that will meet your savings and spending needs.
Find a budget plan system that satisfies your requirements. (You can find them on the Internet). Make sure the one you choose it lets you set your goals, checks your ability to meet those goals and then tracks your progress monthly towards those goals. Also, make sure it is good value for money. One system that satisfies all these requirements is “5 Steps to Freedom” Personal Budget. You can learn more by clicking on the links below or clicking on the Author’s Profile.
If you learn these skills and put then into practice, you can truly “Laugh at Your Money Worries”.

Climate control storage has become extremely popular over the years. Since the 1970s individuals have used self storage companies to store valuable items when room got scarce at home. Storage units are also useful during moves when there might be a short period of time between the closing of a home and the move in date for another home. The only downside to storage units, especially storage units that will be used for a long period of time is that items often deteriorate when exposed to the weather.
Many people who rent storage units do not realize that the temperature in their storage units will be dependent upon the outside weather condition. On summer days when the temperature reaches 90 degrees the average storage facility will end up being 80 degrees at best. During humid weather a storage unit can become stifling and cause extreme damage to items in storage. Many people who have stored valuable clothing, wines, and other items in traditional storage have gotten a rude awakening when they went to retrieve their items from storage. Before throwing your items into a storage unit take the time to find out which of your belongings will benefit from climate controlled storage.
First of all, when you are trying to determine which of your belongings will benefit from climate controlled storage stop and think about the weather condition of the area you live in. There are some people, not many, who might not need to invest in climate controlled storage. First of all, do you live in an area like Louisiana that is known for high levels of humidity? If so, you definitely need to consider climate controlled storage units. High levels of humidity will warp high quality furniture leading to cracking and serious damage. Documents that are stored in humid areas can degrade rapidly losing color and overtime mildew and mold will begin to grow on clothing and furniture that is in storage. Worst, insects breed rapidly in warm, damp areas and your storage facility could quickly become a nest of insects of every kind.
Temperature also plays an important factor in deciding whether or not to invest in climate control storage for your items. If you live in areas that are extremely cold then watch out for condensation that could lead to mildew and mold in damp belongings. Extreme heat is just as bad since this can lead to the permanent damage and destruction of computer disks, DVDs, CDs, and more. Many people who store their collections in extreme heat are shocked and disappointed when they discover that their entire collection has been completely destroyed after a few days in a storage unit subjected to 100 degree heat.
Climate controlled storage units are prefect for a variety of items be they valuable or made of high quality materials. There are some items that belong in climate control that most people would not realize need special care. Mattresses are one item that should be carefully stored in climate controlled storage units. Mattresses can rapidly mold and mildew when left exposed to the elements and with many fine mattresses costing more than $200.00 waste is not recommended.
Good clothing should never be stored in anything less than climate controlled storage units. Fine linens such as silk and velvet are especially vulnerable to deterioration caused by the weather. Heat can lead to discoloration while humidity and cold can cause moisture which will lead to molding and mildewing. Even if mold and mildew do not occur insects will often choose to nest in these fine materials making them dangerous to wear safely.
Musical instruments should never be stored in traditional storage units. Without climate control pianos and violin strings will begin to discolor and will often warp or break. The wood used to create these instruments will also start to warp, crack, and break. Thousands of dollars have been lost or wasted when valuable instruments have been ruined because of extreme weather.
Books and paperwork are also items that should always be stored in climate control storage units. Many people believe that books and documents will store anywhere but this is completely untrue. Without climate control documents will start to discolor making it difficult to read their text and puzzle out their meaning. This can be extremely frustrating when owners of book collections go to look for a favorite volume only to discover it has been ruined.
It is important that individuals looking into storage remember that climate control units are not just needed for fine china, antiques, and leather. Climate control storage is necessary to preserve important paperwork, good clothes, furniture, and really anything you own that is of any value.

Make your own baby bibs! Learn how to cut the fabric pieces for a baby bib in this free sewing video. It seems as if everybody else is doing it – shopping online, that is. There’s the co-worker who bought all their Christmas gifts online without ever setting foot in the crowded local mall. Or the friend who won a bundle of like-new, brand-name baby clothes on eBay. Or your son’s college roommate, who paid hundreds of dollars less than your son did for his college textbooks, simply because he ordered them online rather than from the University bookstore.
If you’ve been meaning to learn to shop online – whether at an online retailer like Amazon.com or an auction site such as eBay – it’s time to quit procrastinating, conquer your fear and dive into the waters of cyberspace. You’re not only missing out on good deals, convenience, and worldwide product selection, you’re actually losing money.
1) Good deals: With the growing popularity of price-comparison websites, it’s easier than ever to find a low price on a product you want. I just typed “iPod Nano 8GB MP3 player” into one of these specialized Search Engines, and got 33 results with prices ranging from $229.99 to $292.75 – that’s a $62.76 price difference. The search engine also listed available rebates and factored in shipping costs.
2) Convenience: Not much explanation needed here – you can shop from home at 3 in the morning while wearing your pajamas. You can shop from work during your lunch break. You can shop from the hotel room when you’re stuck overnight in the middle of nowhere. And you don’t have to fight crowds, prowl the parking lot in search of a place to park, or drag screaming kids around.
3) Product Selection: When you shop online, you’re not limited to the stores within driving distance or even the stores you’re familiar with. You can shop just as easily from a home-based artisan as from an exclusive upscale department store like Saks Fifth Avenue.
Odds are, though, that you already know about deals, and convenience, and selection – so why haven’t you started shopping?
Here are two additional reasons that may encourage you to start.
4) Shopping Online is Safer than Shopping Offline: A survey from Paypal UK published in November 2006 found that you’re much more likely to be a victim of physical theft in your home town than to suffer fraud in the digital world.
More than a third of respondents (35%) had been victims of property theft, but only 15% of UK adults surveyed had been victims of online fraud. Similarly, around 71% of Brits know someone who has had their wallet or purse stolen but only 29% know a victim of online fraud.
And despite rumors to the contrary, paying with a credit card at a reputable website is virtually risk-free if you follow commonsense safety precautions. Online merchants know the importance of secure payment systems, and US shoppers are protected by the Fair Credit Billing Act. (You can dispute charges under this law, and even if your credit card is used fraudulently, you generally would be held liable only for the first $50 in charges.) Other payment processors such as Paypal offer their own fraud protection.
It’s at least as safe to buy online as it is to hand your credit card to the waiter at the restaurant, who whisks it out of your sight for several minutes!
5) NOT Shopping Online Can Cost You Money: Besides the savings to be gained by comparing prices, savvy online shoppers have discovered ways to actually get paid to shop. There’s an entire industry devoted to educating online shoppers how to get cash back for purchases, how to earn money or points for shopping and how to get offers for free and sometimes very valuable products online.
Most of these cash-earning, money-making shopping strategies are cumulative – small rebates or points earned add up over time to hefty bonus checks or free gift cards. (I have a $50 gift card in my purse from Pier One Imports that I got absolutely free, and I’ll send for another $100 gift card as soon as I decide whether to get it from Target or Home Depot.)
There’s no better time than today to educate yourself about shopping online – when you’re not in a hurry, can start small, and don’t need to buy ten gazillion presents by next Sunday.

Get Life Skills – Not Student Loans
—————
Student loans? Who needs them? Take charge of your money for the
rest of your life.
=================
Part I (This article)
Part II Student loan consolidation has big benefits for losers
Part III Idea beats student loan consolidation and creates a
winning mindset.
==================
You’ll never need student loans with these ideas.
1.Grants in place of student loans – no repayments
2. Part time earning decreases student loans
3. Economising (builds life skills) avoids some student loans
—————-
1. Grants – Supreme way to avoid student loans
—————-
A grant is a gift of money that you don’t have to repay. Isn’t a
$50000 grant better than taking out student loans every year for
four or five years? There is a club that keeps its members
abreast of grants that they might use. You can avoid student
loans. These grants aren’t confined to education so you aren’t
confined to avoiding student loans. If you get a grant, save
actively to build a nest egg and the right mindset.
—————–
2. Part Time Earning
—————–
There are lots of ways for you to work your way through college.
What I like is that they encourage an aggressive “go and
get it” mindset. Student loans encourage the “wait for
it to come to me” mindset.
I have details of how a teenage girl made a profitable website.
She’ll never need student loans!
One girl runs dogs. That’s right, she runs for half an hour with
4 dogs that need lots of exercise, then picks up the next 4 dogs.
Don’t lose sight of your target. You want to avoid student
loans, not impress your friends with how much you can spend.
————–
3. Economising
————–
I had a grant for University. Fellow students complained their
student loans or college grants were too small. I saved money
from the grant by economising.
A dollar saved is four dollars earned. You pay back about twice
as much as you borrow, with money from which the IRS has stolen
50%. So each dollar you save avoids earning four.
You can economise on these and have better health.
1. Food
2. Lodgings
3. Health
4. Transport
5. Social life
——-
1. Food.
——-
Learn to cook. You’re at the mercy of food suppliers until you
can cook. One student got into the news because student loans
only covered tinned dog-food for him to eat. That’s too
expensive! I’m cooking my own food and eating well on about$17
per week.
———-
2.Lodgings
———-
I can only suggest that you shop around. Remember that $20 saved
per week is $1000 saved from your student loans each year even
without interest payments.
——–
3. Health
——–
The damage you do to your body adds up over your lifetime, so
it’s a good idea to stay healthy. What has that to do with
student loans?
It turns out that fast food is bad for your health, and so are
most processed foods, and cooking your own food means that you
can avoid trans-fatty acids, sugar, and all the other things
that cause obesity. Curry, broccoli, tomatoes, garlic, brazil
nuts, and cabbage among other things fight cancer. And they all
make less demands on student loans.
———-
4.Transport
———-
Make enquiries. How much would you save from your student loans
by buying a bike instead of a car? Would public transport be
better? Would walking or running for exercise be even better?
How much would it cramp your style for dating?
Remember, buying a car with a student loan involves not only
repayments, but fuel and oil, repairs, licensing, and
depreciation. I travelled 2 hrs/day on my pushbike getting
exercise and no college loans.
———–
5. Social Life
———–
Look for free pastimes. If your friends aren’t interested in
ways to avoid college loans perhaps you have the wrong friends.
If you finish study at 25 and work till 60 that gives you a
working life of 35 years. So a 25 year student loan takes a big
chunk out of your life, even if you are never unemployed.
And that’s before you take out a mortgage!
———————–
Other ways to economise
———————–
Buy second-hand whenever possible – even your textbooks. Clothes
from the Salvation Army are cheap. Use eBay, but don’t buy
anything you don’t need. My first boss said I’d furnished my
house for less than he spent on his bedroom. Negotiate -
Important for second hand, even more for new goods. When you go
in to buy a new fridge, the attendant waits to see if you’re
stupid enough to pay the price tag, or ask for a discount.
Remember a dollar saved is four dollars in student loans that
you won’t have to pay back.
